Hernia fellowship research grant

The American Hernia Society (AHS) Foundation together with LifeCell Corporation will award up to $25,000 to a qualified and approved grant applicant for research on incisional ventral or parastomal hernias in the following topic areas:
• Prevention of hernia formation
• Innovative techniques for hernia repair
• Factors affecting the incidence and recurrence of hernias
• Complications related to hernia repair
